Dear fellow residents.

Security situation in BP 11

 Residents please be aware that the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP) have reclassified Bukit Puchong 2 from a white to grey area. According to sub-inspector Encik Aziz Bin Ali, Ketua Balai Polis, Putra Perdana, the crime rate has increased significantly. In BP 11 in particular, there were a total of 11 reported break-ins the last one year or roughly one per month taking into account unreported cases. Fortunately there was only one serious case of armed robbery at a time when there was a lapse in the originally implemented security system. You must have read of people being followed to their houses and then assaulted with deadly weapons and robbed. Even with our gated and guarded security (albeit not perfect), petty break-ins occur. Imagine more serious crimes being committed if your RA does not get sufficient support to not only maintain and improve the system but has to let it die a natural death. I am sure you will recall the short period when there were no guards and the women and elderly folk felt fearful for their safety especially with the men at work or outstation.

Why your payment is essential:

More importantly, please do your part by paying the fee promptly. The sustainability of our security system is very much dependent on the fees collected.

 As an illustration:  

Our 7 guards are each paid RM6.50 per hour on a twelve hour shift per day = RM546.00 per day.                                            

 On an average 30.5 days per month plus 6% Govt. tax, the total cost per month is RM17,653.00   (excluding cost of rental of potable toilets, utilities and maintenance of the existing equipment).

Assuming a total of 425 units(less vacant and units tenanted to foreigners) and an average collection from 80% of these households, the average monthly collection is RM17,000.00. 

It is thus a case of “Seperti Ayam, kais pagi makan pagi, kais petang makan petang.

Payment of Security Fee : May-August 2013

 

Dear Resident BP11,

 

Good day BP11 Residents!

 

To those who have yet to make payment of Security Fee for the months of May to August 2013, kindly be informed that we are doing collection for May to August 2013 at the park gazebo on 24/05/2013 (Wesak Day), from 10am to 5pm.

Note also that there is an on going exercise to obtain/update the emails of those without emails or have invalid addresses. You are encouraged to update your particulars/or your neighbours', whilst making payment.  

The Committee has decided to make it more convenient for those who wish to directly bank in their payments to the Association's Account. Please ensure that the quarterly payments of RM200.00 are banked in by or before the 30th of August 2013, January, April, August 2014 and so on.

Residents are required to email photocopies of the  bank-in slips to email

Announcement- Matters Disccused in JPP Zone Bandar Bukit Puchong

 Dear BP11 Residents;

The JPP Zone Bukit Puchong had their meeting on 1st February 2013 in Baiduri Courts. The matters discussed are as follows:

1. Pot Holes in BP11 and around Bandar Bukit Puchong

All residents must be active in making reports on potholes to Majlis Perbandaran Sepang (MPS). We suggested that the roads in BP11 to be resurface/re-tared. For this request, the RA needs to write to MPS.

2. Repair of Playground in BP11

Being informed that MPS will repair the playgound in BP11 by April 2013. It has been suggested that we do a survey of the Taman and list down the areas/item that needs to be repaired/replaced. The RA needs to write to MPS and provide them this list and use it as a check list of the repairs carried out.

3. Futsal / Basketball Court

We have highlighted on the need to have either a futsal or basketball court for BP11. We were advised to write-in to request for a two in one Futsal / Basketball Court to be built in the playground of BP11.

4. 3R Program

MPS PLANS to provide the BINS FOR RECYCLE MATERIALS to each Taman by April 2013. RA will have to manage these operations, and the recycle materials will be collected by a contractor for the whole of Bandar Bukit Puchong.

5. Badminton Competition for Bandar Bukit Puchong

There will be a badminton competition to be organized by JPP Zone Bandar Bukit Puchong for all the Tamans in Bandar Bukit Puchong in March 2013. The RA will write to the residents to get the general information and gauge the responses of those who are interested to participate. From these they will decide and plan on the age and gender groupings.

The Automatic Barrier Gate has been installed and commissioned. The Resident Association has received the Access Cards and we're updating the data of residents who have subscribed for it into the system. We will be issuing the Access Cards and collection of monthly fees as follows :
